2024… l’anno della scelta. Noi di quinta ci troviamo davanti a mesi difficili: non solo dobbiamo studiare e iniziare a entrare nel giusto mindset per la maturità, ma dobbiamo anche rispondere a una delle domande più complicate della nostra vita, ovvero: “Cosa farò l’anno prossimo?”.
Ebbene, come sempre esistono due lati della stessa medaglia, perché ci sono persone che sanno già cosa faranno, in quale università andranno e che si sono già iscritte ai test d’ammissione, mentre ce ne sono altre ancora indecise e che non sanno come affrontare questo sentimento di incertezza.
Ecco allora 5 consigli per affrontare l’indecisione!
1) Prenditi del tempo per riflettere.
Molte volte ci dimentichiamo di noi stessi, perciò è bene prendersi del tempo per stare da soli e porsi delle domande come “Voglio continuare a studiare?”, “In cosa sono più bravo?”, “Quali sono le mie passioni?”, “Dove mi vedo tra 5 anni?”.
2) Inizia ad informarti
Terminate le riflessioni e sperando di aver trovato delle risposte, inizia a informarti e a “spulciare” i siti universitari guardando i corsi, i professori, gli sbocchi lavorativi.
3) Pro e contro
Una volta individuate due o tre possibili scelte, stila la cosiddetta Pros&Cons list: prendi carta e penna, tira una riga nel mezzo del foglio, e scrivi i pro e i contro di ciascuna università (o corso) che hai selezionato. Potrebbe sembrare una sciocchezza, ma il più delle volte su quella lista si mettono le cose che si pensano davvero.
4) Non temere
Non avere paura! Se ciò che ti ferma dal prendere una decisione è l’eventualità di sbagliare, allora stai già partendo male!
Temere di commettere errori è umano, ma cosa sarebbe la vita se non rischiassimo? Quindi fai la tua scelta, e se non dovesse essere quella giusta, avrai tempo per ritornare sui tuoi passi… la vita è giovane, e come diceva Mandela: “Possano le tue scelte riflettere le tue speranze, non le tue paure”.
5) Make your choise
Infine, cerca di estraniarti dal mondo che ti circonda, e ascolta solo te stesso e il tuo istinto: è la tua scelta e il tuo futuro, quindi nessuno potrà mai dirti cosa dovresti o non dovresti fare.
Dopo aver letto i miei cinque buoni consigli, ti ho convinto? Spero di sì e spero tu possa trovare la strada più giusta per te, ma soprattutto che tu possa essere felice!
